According to the latest statistics published by Civitas, the number of registered Democrats in North Carolina decreased again during the month of September.  Those identifying themselves as Republican or Unaffiliated rose, statewide and in Dare County.  The numbers have been trending this way all year.

The Dare County Republicans ‘Operation Switch’ appears to be paying off.  Dare County boasts the 5th highest rate of Republican registration changes, as a % of total voters, out of the 100 Counties in North Carolina.
