What:  Civitas’ Campaign Training is focused on giving participants the knowledge and practical skills they will need to build a winning campaign in North Carolina. The program includes information on the following subject areas:

Campaign Academy by North Carolina League of Credit Unions

What:  The Campaign Academy’s goal is to help political candidates learn more about organizing and running campaigns.

Instructors and campaign finance specialists will provide insight into organizing and running legal and effective campaigns by offering real-world campaign experience.

This is a non-partisan effort, open to all potential candidates, first-time candidates or experienced candidates wanting additional knowledge.

The Academy will cover a broad range of essential campaign topics, which include:

Effective fundraising
State campaign finance laws
Campaign communications
The cost of a campaign
Grassroots campaigning

Where:  Doubletree Hotel in Rocky Mount located at 651 N. Winstead Avenue

Who:  This training is for candidates or potential candidates for local, state and statewide offices, campaign workers, fundraisers, volunteer coordinators, political party leaders and community activists
