Learn what our kids (and maybe you) didn’t get taught in school about this exceptional country but should have. It’s not too late!

Bring your whole family (especially youth) to a very special non-partisan event: an educational, grassroots seminar on one of the most important documents in all of human history – the US Constitution.

Come to this U.S. Constitution Seminar presented by a national authority from the National Center for Constitutional Studies traveling to the OBX for this one evening to share his knowledge with us. The basis is the 5000 Year Leap, the remarkable book about the principles of our founding fathers. It is a book Ronald Reagan said should be required reading for every high school student.

Cost: $5 for study guide. Potluck dinner is included: bring a dish to share.
Date: Monday, June 18, 2012
Time: 5 – 9 pm

FairTax Seminar to Reform US Tax Code & Lower Taxes

presented by Dare County FairTax

February 3rd, 2012, marks the 99th anniversary of the Sixteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution which imposed the federal income tax system on its law-abiding US citizens.

The public is welcome to attend an educational seminar for all liberty loving Americans who realize that the current Federal Income Tax Code is a failed system on Wednesday Jan 18th at 6:30 pm at the Kill Devil Hills Library located on Mustian Street behind the KDH Post Office .

NC State Director for the FairTax Plan, John Pierce, will explain how the FairTax Plan works; why many US Congressmen and Congresswomen, public officials and tax accountants support it; and why it makes sense. There are many ways Congress uses the tax code to achieve political goals that have nothing to do with raising revenue. We need tax reform now.

For more information, go to  To calculate what your family could save if the FairTax were implemented, go to the FairTax calculator.
